Any Civil War related organization can participate in the the Garfield Camp #142 Raffle.
 
Here is how:
  1. Contact us for tickets.
  2. How many do you think you need. (You can always get more.) They will be mailed to you. You can always get tickets at events the Garfield Camp #142 attends. Such as the Mansfield Civil War Show.
  3. Sell the tickets for a cost of $2.00 each or 3 tickets for $5.00.

  6. Just before the raffle ends, return to the address on the ticket one half (1/2) the money raised, and the stubs. Make sure the stubs are marked.
  7. See below for the rules.

Raffle Rules

  1. The alternate cash prize for all three prizes is $300.
  2. Other Civil War organizations that sell a winning ticket will receive a "bonus" of $300.
  3. To get the "bonus", the ticket stub must be marked with organization identification. i.e. SUV Camp XXX, SUV AUX XXX, LGAR Circle No.XXX, DUV Tent XXX etc.   A stub without this info will be considered a Garfield Camp 142 sale. (Stickers, or a rubber stamp may help here.)
  4. Tickets must be received by the Friday before the drawing. The drawing date is noted on the ticket.
  5. Return postage is the responsibility of the seller. The Garfield Camp #142 pays the postage to get the tickets to you.
  6. Do not return unsold tickets. they make excellent notepads and bookmarks.
  7. To help you promote this raffle, you may print out this page, and cut and paste to suit.
  8. Winners of the raffle and the selling organizations will be notified ASAP.
  9. Prizes will be sent United Parcel Service. A shipping address will be determined upon contacting the winners. Note: the alternate cash prize takes several days to arrange to send.
  10. Minimum information needed on the stub is a name and phone number. Any other info is encouraged.
  11. Note: when the raffle is over, stubs will be destroyed. The information on the stubs will not be shared with anyone.
  12.  It is fine if minor children buy tickets or have tickets bought for them, but the Garfield Camp #142 will only send the prizes to an adult. An adult name on the ticket is encouraged.
